these guys are giving codrops some competition.
This site seems like a disgruntled Codrops employee left and decided to give them a run at their money
I'm curious, what was the issue?
For CodyHouse, the words container requires a specific width and unless all your words are exactly the same length (not likely), it starts overlapping text (because of the position: absolute children). The Codrops demo had a similar issue.
If all the spans directly in the h1 are set to display: table-cell and width: auto, it sort of works.
I have this exact same issue! I need it to be in the middle of the sentence. Any opposition to sharing what you came up with?
We went with a tweaked version of https://github.com/peachananr/simple-text-rotator after trying a few ways to get it done with css only.
