Last week, we launched the responsive web-app in Australia, and once we're confident that it will scale nicely, we're opening it to the UK, with other countries to follow close behind.

What makes it exciting is that although it uses bitcoin technology as its infrastructure, you don't actually have to use bitcoin at all, if you don't want. You can keep your money in more traditional currencies (eg, Australian Dollars) and withdraw it pretty much instantaneously. Meaning that an international client could pay an invoice via CoinJar, you can transfer it onto our debit cards, and then spend it within a few minutes.

It's early stages, but we're pretty excited about it. I'd love to hear what you think of our work!
