Hey y'all- we've been working really hard on our node.js-based Apostrophe CMS and are proud to be launching a brand new demo site this morning.

You can find our docs site here: apostrophenow.org

And you can get started playing with it by grabbing the command line tool.

Open issues and pull requests on the Apostrophe GitHub!

Let us know what you think!

This looks really nice. Looks very similar to SilverStripe, but JS based.

Definitely going to check it out further.

You can most definitely drop in images! Wherever you see an "Add Content" button you are able to add a text area, a slideshow, a video embed, etc... The demo site only shows off the core tools, but developers are able to create totally custom blocks of content.

You can define your own schemas for custom content types, allowing you to create complex views made up of things like text, numbers, areas, references to other pieces of content, etc. The apostrophe editing interface wires them up for you automatically.
