After 3 year's on our old one pager... we've decided to give our site a lick of paint. Thoughts/feedback/critiques?
You're the first we've publically shared with.
P.s. we're also hiring http://neverbland.com/careers/!
It looks really great, big fan of all the small hover animations on the icons etc.
Thanks! Mr Oskar Sisi did most: https://dribbble.com/oskarsisi
nice site! what's the intro interactive piece created with? is it just vanilla js or webgl/processing?
Thanks! It's mostly canvas and SVG animations with physics algorithms to make it smooth and natural.
There is a CORS-request error on Chrome (http://c.vslck.im/YiR6)
Good to finally see this live! Big fan of all the details you've put in there.
Good job guys!
Loving all the subtle animations in the backgrounds and other elements, just enough motion and not too distracting.
"for us" and "for others" menu labels seemed bit undescriptive for me at first, but when reading rest of the copy it makes sense.
+1 - overall great outcome, very clean, subtle animations and a lot of attention to detail. Though the navigation didn't quite make sense to me until I'd actually clicked into them to work out what they were referring to.
a nice modern full screen menu that actually works
How is this Designer news?
Because it was designed.
DUUURRRRRR
Love it! I would also LOVE to know where you got that pattern from that's featured behind each hero shot...?
I believe our designer baptiste made it... could be mistaken though.
I really love the clean design on the home page, it explains what you guys do and what you're all about really nicely. One point, on the blog page I viewed your logo overlapped on the body content as shown in the screenshot below. This might be limited to just iPads.
Otherwise, great job guys!
EDIT: same on the homepage, looks good on the images but over text it seems wrong. Maybe extend the white navigation block to be full width?
Thanks, although it was semi on purpose, kinda rough around the edges look.
We can always just make the logo not fixed... but I personally don't mind it. What do others think?
Fair enough, you've clearly put thought into it and I see your reasoning. Still, very nicely done!
I'd agree with this point, at certain times the logo becomes completely blended with the background. You can see it here. It also makes the navigation look awkward and separated from everything else.
I think the simple solution is to simply extend the navigation bar across the top. It's a simple an unobtrusive pattern which completely solves this
