A project of mine ( http://lym.io/RainbowSafari/ ) got to about place 7 here on DN. After that it got tweeted numerous times, and posted to reddit where it became the top post on /r/web_design.
I did not set up any type of analytics but couldflares its own, and that counted about 5000 unique visitors in the first 4 days after it was posted.
But what still suprises me is that I still get 50-100 page views every day, while before that I got 1-2 page views everyday, from myself or a friend. Half of the visitors I get each day are new visitors.
Only since this week I added more content to the website, so I have absolutely no idea why people kept returning for RainbowSafari, and where the new users came from?
The SEO on my website is horrible, even searching for RainbowSafari doesn't return my website.
