Good job. This video has everything a modern app video needs:
The first ... app.
It's endorsed by celebrities you've heard of.
People are talking about it.
Lots of venture capital.
Random big city names on the video.
No explination of what the app actually does.
Things that enchance functionality.
It introduces something innovative.
Some API for other apps to use.
And last but not least, a pretty girl to introduce this all.
I only buy apps that have Sandwich videos, so I need a hefty, bearded dude to taciturnly explain to me my problem, and how an app can fix it.
I should be in this Poof!
This is great. I really want this to pick up steam so I can read through comment boards trying to figure out what this does.
"Poof uses colors and shapes to enhance functionality"
… functionality of what? Not sure if I'm missing something here, but what does it do?
These are not the droids you're looking for
Is this supposed to be funny?
For the people who are confused, it's just a dummy video made by moonbase.
They explained here
They should have published this at April 1st.
you are right, fun is totally prohibited outside of April 1st.

This is a wide up.
I'M SO FUCKING CONFUSED. I seriously can't tell if this is supposed to be sarcastic or not.
In many ways, that drives home the point. But yes indeed, it is sarcastic. Meant to blend into a superfluous app landscape. Created as a production experiment for my company Moonbase to test some new variables (primarily the Sony F55 and shooting RAW)
Thanks for clearing this up. Now my brain can rest.
Not sure the satire is clever or "right on" enough to read clearly as satire.
Great joke and makes me think of "Yo!" app. ;-) I hate to be a nitpicker, but the weight of the larger P in the Poof logo is too thick. It needs to be slimmed down so it feels more integrated with the 'oof' letters.
Retarded. No utility, just another virtual distraction.
Poof.. derogatory term for homosexual in the UK.
I somehow feel the need to point that out.
