    Wow. I always wondered how they syncing all of the animations. I surprised when I saw just one in the background.

    Why not just use an SVG in place of the divs? Cleaner and easily compressed, cached and loaded by most modern browsers. Seems like a good alternative.

      Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't pure CSS faster (or at least equal) to SVG load times?

        Nope, I think you're right. Personally I feel it would make the code a lot cleaner & more semantic... and maybe reduce load times if used on a larger scale?

        That's if heavy caching is enabled, of course
