What are your favorite well-designed apps?

and why?

Personally, I like Paper because it introduced a new way of navigating through an app. Also a fan of Mailbox.

    Are we talking about mail apps? If so I love the new Inbox by Google. It takes elements from Mailbox and adds a few new features, such as automatic sorting. I like how you can set notifications based on the type of email, for example, to ignore all "Promotions" emails.

    I really like SimpleNote. It's out of the way, makes it easier to write things down
