Visually cool, but very difficult to navigate. I also was unsure what the company did, my first thought was photography.
It's hard to strike a balance between super cool and unique, and the usability of a website. Labels would go a long way, as well as more description on the homepage.
Agreed, from a usability perspective. Unique, but adhering to sensible established web ui best practices can a be a tough walk to walk.
I love the visual aesthetic throughout the site and the works, but it seems like it's a bit lacking when it comes to the usability.
Also taking a look at this: http://twofold.com/work/twitter-music/ I'm wondering what considerations when into the actual usability vs it just looking nice in this one instance.
Awesome as a concept, but for actual use - I'm not so sure.
