Incredible amount of work and dedication. Superb. Couldn't believe the mockup photos of Becks holding a scarf weren't real!

Seriously though, Inter Miami is the only thing I don't like. Being that Beckham played for AC Milan too, I just don't see him going for that name. Miami United FC would make them MUFC, same initials as his beloved Man Utd.

    But that's just me musing.

This is great work. Gorgeous kit too.

This is very well executed and the blogpost itself is great for learning purposes.

This is a very well put together branding concept.

Love everything except the mark. It needs a little more weight so it can stand out on its own a little more.

Regardless of the final logo and execution, it's a complete no-brainer to me that they should involve this guy to some degree - even as just a consultant. Passion about something to this level of detail is invaluable, IMHO. It's well executed, well thought out... and just as importantly, well presented.

Really nice work. It is all well executed, but doesn't quite 'say' Miami to me. It feels a little flat. Playing with the idea of many nationalities in the name was nice, but would have loved to have seen that thinking reflected in the design a little more.

To me, atleast, Miami isn't a placid, static place - it's a place full of energy, movement, and different cultures blending together. This identity just feels a little too still to really capture that spirit.

Miami has a tremendou amount of visual language to pull from too. An amazing amount, that seems to have been ignored too. I would have loved to have seen at least a 'nod' to some kind of art deco type, in a tasteful way. All those shapes, lines and colors which bring the streets to life just aren't present here. Instead we have a safe complimentary palette of blue's. I can't help but think I would have made it all a little louder.

I think maybe some of these things might come out of working on this in a vacuum (no one else was mentioned, could be wrong?), just a little lack of fresh eyes/perspective/client.

Still, really enjoyed this project though.

Great branding, Inter Miami is such a funny name in the US for a Football team.

Is there a cooler logo to have on a jersey right now?

I think it's good, but I think it discredits the sport when the team puts the actual ball of the sport in the logo. It's like they are saying the fans are so dumb that they couldn't recognize IMFC as a soccer team without putting a soccer ball front and center in the logo. MLS moved away from the explicit soccer ball motif in the logo, which I think should draw a line in the sand. Otherwise it is a great execution.

I'd love to see the how or if this looks incredibly dated in 10 years or this style of design will have a classic appeal.

Cause updating a club's logo is never a good solution right?

That is always a solution. I'm comparing to MLB/NFL/NCAA, which update their logos every three decades, if that. Many of the aggressive lines and angles from the logos that were created for sports logos in the late 90s look gaudy now, though they looked really awesome at the time. However, some of them were able to balance a fresh feel that maintained a classic appeal decades later.

Wow great job. As a footie fan, I can definitely see the passion in your work. I hope Mr. Beckham realizes your talents and asks you to work with the team.

Beautiful imagery, tons of work, but would've liked to see you go a little deeper on logo and color options.
