This is a really nice, alternative news site layout. Those hover social icons are a bit much though.
Thought the same. Also: Why should I share an article when I only saw the headline?
that is beautiful.
Nice and bold design. Respect to the design team. It will be interesting to see how long the editorial team will be able to stick with this style over the coming weeks/months.
Besides the bold visual style, I like the transition to the next article by just scrolling further. Lovely.
I agree. It's definitely been done before: Quartz, and Medium to a lesser extent (had a click-and-animation transition). But this one is done so seamlessly, at least on my machine.
Nice to see something fresh on these news websites. Loads very fast, that's something I really like.
Incredibly well done. Clean, readable and different.
Good ol' Joshua strikes again
Fantastic! Who did this?
Joshua Topolsky tweeted that it was his first project at bloomberg.
I doubt that he did the design himself. Probably responsible for guiding the overall philosophy for the project.
