This is great. So simple, and the gallery views are really nice. Perfect for showing design comps.

Do you mean a native app instead of the web version? I think I prefer it being in a browser.
Yep, a small app to integrate with screenshot capture and drag&drop in the Menu Bar.
Edit: Or at least some way to integrate it into already existing apps (Dropshare, Monosnap, etc.)
If you haven't seen Cloud.app, that may be what you're looking for.
I've been a Droplr user for a few years and now I'm looking for something free or ad-supported. (edit: without the limits of CloudApp)
That's why I'm using my own hosting and domain along with those apps, but it's not as quick.

For the moment yes, but it might change in the future ;). drp.io main draw here is quick sharing.
