Kind of doubt he's full-time @ Facebook. There was recently a great article on him (in NYTimes I think). The man has introduced some great patterns that we use daily and implement in our own apps. I also love that he didn't use much (or any?) of UIKit in his Letterpress app - choosing instead to write his own UI layer that was more efficient for his needs. That's the kind of design/engineering nerd I strive to be!
Having said that - my guess is that he's doing just what the tweet says: "helping out." Hopefully, this is just a consulting gig.
Correction - not NYTimes, WSJ: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887324392804578358730990873670.html
Yeah, it seems like it he just be contracting, not full time. Still... crazy news.
Loren’s also appeared on the Iterate and Debug podcasts a few times: http://www.imore.com/debug-iterate-team-podcast-future-human-interfacehttp://www.imore.com/debug-1-loren-brichter-letterpresshttp://www.imore.com/iterate-21-brichter

Wow. Facebook now has a large proportion of the best design and dev talent in the world. Crazy news.
They have for a while. I hope they share and export knowledge rather than hoard it inside closed doors. Actually bums me out when people who used to share a lot are in lockdown mode at the FB. Incredible talent, pretty uninspiring mission.
