Thanks for posting this Derek!
Absolutely. Beautiful execution, Jesse!
Always been a fan of your work, and this is no different.
Side note: is there any text that Sentinel can't make look amazing?

Thanks! Added to the bug list.
I've been a fan on Jesse's work since I first got started. Great stuff.
I did find a typo in the about section.
Jesse lives in small a historic community in Grimsby Ontario with his wife Heather and daughters Sadie and Lucy.
Whoops! Funny thing is, my wife Heather mentioned that I was missing an "a" in that sentence this morning. I obviously put it in the wrong spot. :/
Lovely site. Exudes class.
Lovely 404 page also :-)
I really remember your last (?) site, it even resides in my inspirational folder (although collecting web design is a thing of my past so it doesn't get updated anymore.)
This new design looks really good as well. What's the thought behind the front page: what do you want to convey with the headline? To me it sounds like you're an agency that do apps - both design and code.
Ah yes. That one is 2 designs ago... (the one my host lost :)
The goal with the current headline is to: 1. Speak to developers 2. Let them know we do interface design 3. Lead them into the portfolio 4. Somehow it into a butterfly image ("transform"). A bit backwards maybe... but it is what it is. I designed around the butterfly :)
Were you feeling that it didn't really hit the mark on describing what we do?
(Also... Drew and I can code... but usually don't advertise it as "production ready". We'll do prototyping, etc... but it's more of a business/support decision to focus on the visual side of things.)
I think the headline makes sense but is offset by the butterfly illustration because that leads me into thinking you guys do illustrations and print design – which creates a disconnect from "interfaces" and it becomes a bit vague.
Beautiful site! I love the loading animation on the landing page.
One thing that kind of "bugs" me (pun, haha) is the butterflies on the about page (https://www.dropbox.com/s/ifteqkmi5bjmy3a/Screenshot%202014-08-05%2011.46.49.png). They are lovely, but don't actually have anything to do with the content or help with what they're trying to communicate.
Bugs me too. Been wrestling with another type of icon style that will work with the rest of the site but haven't landed on it as of yet. Good feedback though... I'll keep trying :)
