Can we stop this Material Design nonsense? It's a white box with a heavy box shadow. C'est tout.
Fair enough.
I used the Material Design reel as reference so I wanted to give proper credit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8TXgCzxEnw
Thanks, another great FramerJS example for us to learn (:
Solid effort but nowhere near as smooth as it needs to be.
Thanks for the feedback. (And thanks Matt for sharing this.)
Some animations are triggered based on another animation's end event when they should be starting a few moments before. I should also tweak the easing on different movements.
I'll try to improve.
For the record Framer.js is a prototyping tool, 'Material Design' is great and this demo is impressive, point ... as is a similar exploration done with keynote http://vimeo.com/100377108
New and old tools to help interaction designers explore their ideas don't need to be 'as smooth as it needs to be'. These are prototypes. I applaud these designers ingenuity for getting more out of the kit they already have.
No one is making production level Android apps in framer.js and keynote, calm down buddy :)
