This would not work for me as I exclusively use Cold Source BNRs built on lymph.js and humonDB.

Looks real promising. Finally a open-source cms with a useable ui. I am looking forward to start using it.

Thanks Roel, nice to hear when people "get it" :)

I saw similar projects which where closed services which had a rest api to connect a frontend application to. They just focussed on the cms and nothing else. This was missing for open source. I'm getting tired of Wordpress (which is for blogging not a cms).

Yep. Another important goal is to have a lightweight, but super-usable template system. The systems (like Contentful) that only provide API access seem limited (just like the ones that provide only templates).

Looks fun. How's Assembly working out?

It's been great. Definitely a few stumbling points as they work out the coin system and establish features, but the general idea is fantastic and I don't think I'd be able to get Buckets off the ground without the small community there-

Am I the only one wondering where the screenshots are?

I intentionally am not showing it off to the general public (though I tweet screenshots occasionally and we talk about the design on Assembly). The reason is that I don't really want people "kicking the tires" until it can compete on a basic level with things like Wordpress/Drupal/EE. Until then, the UI design (and UX) will be undergoing drastic changes (likely a few more months).

I had a play with this yesterday, looks cool so far. I'm impressed with how much has been accomplished in a few months - awesome work.

Thanks so much Theo — Big updates getting pushed this week too, would love any feedback/thoughts (there's still a long way to go before it's a real, grown up CMS)
