Sketch + Missing Fonts

over 7 years ago from , Product Designer at Facebook

Has anyone else had this experience: You open your Sketch file and all of your fonts either will not load or have been replaced with .Lucida GrandeUI. Anyone?

I'm managing fonts with FontCase, and have already tried installing/uninstalling the fonts, turning it off and on...

Any feedback on the matter would be awesome!

I occasionally run into this issue when one of two things happens.

    1. Fonts don't sync down from CC (they seem to want to do this many times a day for some reason)

    2. A font has somehow been mismatched with it's family of fonts. I noticed this to be the case yesterday in Fonts (the follow-up to FontCase) and had to copy it into Fonts several times before it seemed to work. This one made absolutely no sense to me.

I still get this issue, have you found any fix?

I use RightFont to auto activate the missing fonts in Sketch document. It's so easy to use, just open Sketch document by RightFont. You can take a try from http://rightfontapp.com
