I'm getting tired of the stock Apple galaxy. Do you guys have any interesting wallpapers or mods (rainmeter) that you use?
kuvva.com on mac and iOS
Same here. Kuvva rocks!
The only time I get to see it is when logging in. Still badass though!
I have some sort of OCD regarding my wallpapers. Everything has to match, phone / laptop & tablet. Its pretty bad.
Vladstudio is awesome - especially his christmas wallpapers. I'm currently using Robots In Love:
This for iPhone4S — http://www.effektivedesign.co.uk/iPhone-IOS4-App-Grid
I prefer desktop wallpapers that remind me to never take anything too seriously.. http://www.wallpapermania.eu/wallpaper/lego-darth-vaider-on-a-bike
I'm currently using the dark one by Hector Simpson on all of my devices. It makes the icons look amazing on iOS. http://dizzyup.co.uk/wallpapers/
about 400 thumbnails.
I like to have a bunch of my favorites in a folder and have OS X rotate through them on the hour. As an added bonus, it means that my different spaces have different wallpapers, which helps with differentiating workspaces.
I've been using Matthew Skiles wood wallpaper for years. I've tried to go away from it several times, but it continues to be my favorite.
When I got my new Mac I decided to go with the solid light grey. So much less distracting.
My iPhone background is this 'Real Artists Ship' thing - just made it for myself ripping off something @mantia did on Dribbble. I have the 2560x1440 version somewhere if anyone wants it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/hyopa2xszl5q0fw/realartistsship.png
i usually pick up a nice wallpaper from The Fox Is Black : http://www.thefoxisblack.com/category/the-desktop-wallpaper-project/
i have been using this one for a while now : http://www.thefoxisblack.com/2012/01/26/the-desktop-wallpaper-project-featuring-denise-nouvion-day-4/
I’m cycling through this set at the moment http://www.behance.net/gallery/Revolved-forms/6760657
I am a big fan of using geek tools to dump out useful info to my desktop (screenshot of my setup here): http://dribbble.com/shots/782294-Geek-Tool/attachments/117884
I do a lot of device testing - and outputting my current network IP
Geek tools is actually pretty easy to set up and can be found in the app store here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/geektool/id456877552?mt=12
I often change but I love to have panoramas. There are a lot of awesome wallpapers in this website : http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper
http://pinterest.com/pin/185914290838748841/ this but modified to fit my background.
It is coffee in a Chemex that I made while visiting my family for Christmas. Fun fact: The Chemex was featured as James Bond's preferred morning brew by Ian Fleming in From Russia with Love.
I like working without distractions, so my Mac and iOS devices have an almost-black background.
I use Spaces on my rMBP. One of my backgrounds is Steve Jobs' "Here's to the crazy ones" quote, another background is Dieter Rams' 10 Principles of Good Design, and the third background is of a Danbo stealing macarons, lol.
