Nice office. Do we know how they're gonna monetise yet?
No wonder they need so much funding.
Great looking office space but I'd take remote work over this any day. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
I am pretty jealous of this napping station situation:
I think this proves it's still not quite Exposure. The experience was nice but it wasn't up to the quality of Exposure's yet, I don't think.
Lack of padding on my iPad kinda annoyed me :(
Agreed. While looking at all the photos just dumped in there, I couldn't help but think that Exposure would've been a much better choice for this kind of "story".
Darren was actually a early Exposure user and posted some great stuff. https://darrenhull.exposure.co/
I'm hoping a comparisons post happens : )
Anyone know who designed their space?
And what conference room management system (ipad based) they're using?
I love these type of photo essay that document the technology startups. One person I look up to a lot of Doug Menuez. He made "boring technology" and the people in it interesting. Folks should check out his work.
He's old school. Yes.
ps-IMHO, it's never about the space. It's about the people (their face, their expression vs blank stairs). I wish the Medium photographer would spend more time to capture the people in their environment more.
One thing I've noticed: there's no people at all. Only a few guys and girls.
HAH! I didn't even know they were in that building. I was just in there yesterday visiting Pacific Helm. Everything in their space looks so clean and utopian. I've noticed that trend among the few offices I've seen here (Dropbox, AirBnB, Heroku). I think it looks like a great environment.
That JR print is great
