Was just posting this! Haha, awesome.
Very nice, was this designed by FreeAssociation?
Yep, that's us.
What CMS is behind this?
Great work! The one flaw I see: lack of retina favicon. Everything else is gorgeous on my rMBP.
Which CMS?
A site Andy Bernard would be proud of. Cornell. Ever heard of it?
Nice redesign. Too bad the new design only reaches 2 levels deep, are there any plans on working out the deeper levels too?
Represent!
..of course once I graduate..
Cornell does a good job with most of their sites: http://www.cornell.edu/nyc/
This is really nice. Always impressed when a .edu is even remotely well-designed.
Do you know who led the design and what the CMS is?
I would also like to know this. The college I work at is undergoing a massive rebranding effort this summer and into fall.
I know Cornell uses Cascade from Hannon Hill, not sure if it's behind the new website. It's popular with colleges and universities because it's not a 'live' cms, but rather deploys static assets that can contain just about any server side scripting language you want. This fits in really well for institutions that have a variety of development environments.
A few years ago we implemented Cascade for a university and everyone involved was frustrated. Very time consuming, but it has its place due to the flexibility it offers for inflexible institutions.
Hi there, we lead the design and front end build. The CU team handled all the content and integrations so there was handoff there, so I'm not exactly what CMS is being used.

When I saw that hero image, I was totally expecting parallax...
The responsiveness is so nice. We're getting there, but I wish it was the norm to have a responsive site.
