Have you tried using something like https://domai.nr/ to look up variants and options?
I personally prefer .co over .me. Another one that's really popular atm is .io
I think this one is being used mostly for blogs?
I would stick with .com and try a slight variation on your name rather than use something like .me or .co. Since my portfolio site has one purpose (to get me hired) I just added "hire" to the front of my name.
Personal site you can use .im
(I do)
Although, you may want to consider who you'll want visiting your site, talking to non techie people and explaining an awkward domain is a horrid experience, so you might want to play a little safer. Consider that .co will sound like a mistake to a lot of people.
You can just brand yourself with a different name. I used bandd.co for a while until (fortunately) rolandomurillo.com became available.
I like when the end of a domain name is the end the person's name, it's more original than a .me domain and still professional in my opinion.
Thus, I would choose the .yt domain in your case.
how can i find a domain like that..
I went the .me route :)
Surname.me gets my vote if it's available. Also means you can gift email addresses to relatives ;)
If only my last name wasn't a common 3 letter word.
Is your last name Try? try.me would be the shit!
I don't want Jay to reply now... this is too perfect and it's likely to not be true!
Personally I'm not a fan of .co for no reason at all. .io and .me seem like decent alternative, but I think it may largely depend on what you plan on using the domain on.
