Wooo, I have been waiting for this for the longest time!
PS: Frank Grießhammer (http://www.frgr.de/) was the guy who did all the hard work.
Yeh, darn shame. I tend to use serifs mostly for their italics.
It is perfect.
I didn't see any weight there. All regular/bold.
Reminds me of Meta Serif. Anyone else?
Wish there was a light!
Hot. That is all.
Beautiful. I'm not sure how I feel about the arrow glyphs yet, but I'm a type snob poser — they might be out of my league.
Anyways I love the idea of open-source type so much.
Nice. Reminds me of Minion Pro, which I use quite a bit.
could care less about it being open source. this is a damn beautiful font.
Possibly the first open source super family. I’m not aware of another one that is this well designed and has serif, sans, and monospaced variants in multiple weights.
I had forgotten about PT Sans, Serif and Mono from ParaType, which has caption and narrow styles too.
Can you double strike through something? I forgot my point was that it’s open source, not open license. So this is a first as far as I know.
How about licensing? Is it MIT or else?
It’s Open Font License, which is the generally accepted option for open licensing for fonts.
It’s quite permissive, you can do most things short of simply selling or altering and selling the font. Same license that other good open source faces like Fira, the PT family, and Lato are released under.
