Ask DN: What's your favorite email app?

over 7 years ago from , Graphic Designer

I've been struggling to find an email app that I really enjoy for my iPhone. The default one leaves much to desire, and others that I've tried have little nuances that keep me from being satisfied.

What email app do you use?

Yes, please turn in your gun and your badge...

And your thick black framed glasses....

And your behance action method dot grid journal....

      and set of micron pens.

I use Mailbox on my phone and I use inky for desktop.

Inky is not perfect...but I like better than Sparrow, Airmail, etc. I'm hoping mailbox for mac will be good, but until then I like inky.

I tried Mailbox but at some point it just started messing up my emails. Emails I deleted years ago popped up again…

Now my go to choice is Mail Pilot. I loved the OS X app and the iPhone app does pretty well.

Similar to Mailbox when it comes to completing, trashing, replying to email but the approach of Mail Pilot is to be more like a todo list for your emails.

Mailbox, about the only one which allows me to stay organized. On desktop I currently have this love/hate relationship with Unibox, I'll probably hold out till Mailbox gets the beta invites out, whenever that may be.

Unibox because it helps me to identify how many emails I have from a certain address. That way I can read all the previous message by someone when I get a new one or I can delete/archive/mark-as-read a bunch of emails from the same address.

Tried to use Mailbox for a while but for me it lacks in features.

Does exists any other app good enough to be mentioned?
