So I wrote a small article about the recent controversy about ComiXology removing in-app purchases from their application. I thought it might be interesting to DN.
"...there can be additional costs with selling additional software [...] but those costs, in the context of this argument, are so small, they might as well be negligible."
Seems like an assertion without any evidence or justification. I have no idea of Apple's cost structure, but considering how many apps are in the app store, all of which must be reviewed, published, hosted, etc., and how few of them generate any significant revenue (and thus cause Apple to lose money), I'm not at all sure that the amortized cost of selling software is negligible.
