Does he just travel around all the time, spending that leftover MySpace money?

i'm kind of against the way some of these IG accounts don't actually use a phone camera. I realize it's a platform, but these kinds of things are just on another level, i just want to see people's babies, dogs and meals.

I agree, I never liked seeing SLR quality photos in instagram.

But then again, I kind of quit using instagram when it switched from a niche photo sharing app catered to people with a photographic eye to a place to blast your friends with every crappy, poorly exposed, blurry picture on your camera roll.

I know those are kind of conflicting ideals, but IG used to have such a great balance of authenticity and quality.

I also realize I probably just need to unfollow friends who only post blurry pictures of their dog, but that feels like it misses the point too. I guess this is where VSCOcam comes in, but I've never really been able to get into it—the social element is very broken (where are my friends? I know some use it), and I think they pushed the flat design to the point of making it actually difficult to use and understand.

Alas, instagram was very much a time and place thing for me. Bringing it back full circle, so was Tom.

I wonder if Tom knew when he set his profile pic that it would be such a keeper.

If I had that much money, my photos would look like that as well.
