Hey everyone, I'm looking for a decent 24" monitor display that renders well colors/brightness with a Retina Macbook, as I'll be using it for designing, photo retouching and video editing. I'm not looking for a 4K monitor but something relatively cheap (under $260) Any recommendations? What are you guys using? Thanks in advance
You can trust The Wirecutter on this choice: http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/dell-u2412m-monitor-best-monitor/
I've had this model for about 4 months, and I love it.
Looks really good, adding it to the list. Thanks!
Dell Ultrasharps are great. Go for the 27"
the reviews are great! Thanks man, definitely looking into that
I'm on a dell u2713h all day long, it's really nice.
As far as the price range of $300 or under, I've got the 24" Dell and it works like a charm. That 27" looks beautiful though. (Btw, Dominik, I'm liking your avatar haha)
I'm gonna be buy this ASUS MX299Q 29-Inch Ultra Wide LED-Lit Monitor Or the 27" one, I love the color and resolution of it! :)
I use an Asus PB278Q, 27". If I had the money at the time I wouldve stretched for the Dell.
I have an ASUS PA248Q, which is 24", made and calibrated for graphic design and photography. It works best over miniDisplayPort connection (MacBook's HDMI is wonky). I think it should be around $300, but IMO it's best to throw in $40 more to get it. Exceptional display.
On the dell / asus monitors, whats the best way to connect your MBPr? The apple 27" display is thunderbolt right?
It's definitely the U2713HM. Same panel as the Thunderbolt Displays but half the price and matte vs gloss. I love mine. <3
I really like Apple's monitors and currently have two of them connected. Great colors. Works like a charm.
I had the pleasure to test it a few time, it is really lovely! My only concern is the price though, I'm looking for something above $300, my company's paying for it..
What do you think of this one? Quality/price look decent http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-S24C750PS-Monitor-250cd-1920x1080/dp/B00BFTRSQO/ref=sr_1_19
Can be 27" as well :)
