The cards themselves are beautiful. The guy reminds me of Jony Ive :p
I do play a lot of cards and there's a few things that are not good about these cards if you actually want to use them for something like poker.
- The suits should not be too harmonious because it takes you more effort to distinguish them.
- The spades should have a stem, for example.
- The cards should have a "body" and not just corners. Especially when using community cards (such as poker) you need to see everything at a glance. Older players with bad eyesight are always double checking the cards on the table
- The back / front should be easily distinguishable. The front and back are now white, and you do not want to have a misdeal because halfway through the deck there's a card with the face up.
I would've bought a box anyway, but the non-us shipping of 13usd would make a single pack ±30usd. A bit too much for me.
EPIC!! Proud of you man!
best I've ever seen (I don't play much :) )
Cute, but depressingly minimalist and lacking a real character to them. I've always kept the set that came with Red Dead Redemption near and dear to my heart: https://az25493.vo.msecnd.net/rs-catalog/rs-rdr-dicecards-large-00.jpg
