I'm looking for a Mac app that I can use to keep everything organised — images, screenshots, dribbble pics etc. Be great if it has iOS app too. At the moment I just use folders in Finder, and it's cumbersome to search and browse. Anyone use an app that they like for this?
I'm using Dragdis for a month now, really loving it.
I use Inboard too. Dark themes, quite fast and enough for browsing grids of inspirations.
I'm trying Inboard as well! The Beta is free!
I use Gimme Bar, but lately have been looking at Ember. No video saving is a bit of a bummer, tho.
Pics as well as links — http://icebergs.com.
I've been a fan of Ember. I've tried iPhoto and Dropbox, but found them less than ideal.
Since I also care about animation and interactions, I use AirPlay and Reflector to broadcast to my Mac and record what I see on the screen. I keep that in Dropbox, and it's too bad Ember doesn't do video.
I've been using Gimmebar for about two years now. Saving tidbits of inspiration is basically the same anywhere, but I really love the discovery feature because I tend to find things I don't see on twitter or here.
Also tried out icebergs and usually make boards for saving and sharing inspiration for client projects.
I use and love Board by Creonomy. It uses a simple but powerful Chrome Extension to capture full pages or snippets, and has an iOS app for browsing.
I've said it before on DN but I'm a big Pixa fan.
Yep another one here for Ember.
trying out Sitedrop
I go with a combination of Hazel, IFTTT, and Dropbox.
After taking the time to setup Hazel and continue to tweak those settings it does what I was always too lazy to do. I love IFTTT recipes as well.
Check out Sayz Lim's blog. It's good, detailed insight on how someone else works. I used his Hazel methodologies as a 'template', but adjusted them to fit my needs.
