It feels a bit visually heavy to me. Everything has so much weight that the hierarchy is lost.
Added: I think the nighttime photos could be a cool especially if applied at night based on the user's local time, but they do really darken the screen.
The patterned sign up on the left feels distracted by the patterened yellow background. The blue and yellow clash a little bit, and "Find Your Destination is tough to read."
I think if you strip away much of this and left the basic hierarchy, just text, photos, and a few buttons with a single color (just blue or just yellow) you would have something solid.
Also, not sure you need the lower sliders, there's a lot going on already.
I agree. It's a bit mushed in there too. I think I need to add more space, and clean it up. I'm wondering if the night-time images are causing it to look heavy as well. I'll have to keep that in mind.
Here's a rough wireframe stripping out a bit of the visual flourishes.
I've never used redpen before, but that looks awesome! Thanks for the suggestions! I'll have a revision up this week.
