Nice, this is really slick.
One thing though - when going back and forward, it seems as though the layer UNDERNEATH shouldn't wait to transition.
Example: I swipe the top panel, names fade in on the bottom panel. I then swipe back half way, change my mind and swipe the top panel away again. The names on the bottom panel should STAY visible since I already saw them animate once.
The first animation served the purpose of calling attention to the new list. Every animation of that list going forward feels like animation for animation's sake.
This is really incredible, I love these new interactions and animations we're starting to see in apps. Excellent, than you for sharing
I made a quick test to see if it was possible to do this in CSS and JS. https://news.layervault.com/stories/17888-curtain-in-cssjs
I love the animations and transitions, but some of them would need to be sped up for real world use.
Can't wait for him to release Meek to the public.
This is very cool. Are there any performance issues on devices < 5S?
How processor intensive is this? It would be nice if the physics engine could handle the closing curtains when you let your finger go.
Much Animation, great job. I always think it is fun, to see real world actions, being translated into digital animations. (Peeking behind the curtain) :)
Amazing interaction ! Will this come in your Marvel app :D ?
That would be nice!
Pretty much the coolest thing I've seen today! I bet it feels very interesting.
