I'm currently researching for a client and maybe haven't found THE link I can forward that you possibly got in your pocket. Thanks for your contribution!
Can you clarify what it is you're wanting to compare? Features, performance, monetization, etc.?
Basically it's a roundup of all those aspects. What helped me so far: http://www.businessinsider.com/html5-vs-native-apps-for-mobile-2013-6 and http://www.nngroup.com/articles/mobile-native-apps/
To clarify further: I'm not new to this field just want to make sure to offer the whole plate to inform a profound and well thought out decision.
Cool, here's a few that I've found helpful.
http://sealedabstract.com/rants/why-mobile-web-apps-are-slow/ That one is not necessarily a comparison between web/native, but its a great analysis of web app performance.
http://www.amlcode.com/2010/07/16/comparison-appinventor-rhomobile-phonegap-appcelerator-webview-and-aml/ This is more of a comparison of various hybrid app frameworks.
Thanks for your help!
Not a link, but when explaining web app vs native app, I always compare google docs and microsoft word.
