Seeing the announcement for Owner Camp pop up made me think. I know there's a lot of product people and freelancers here — what about client services? I'd love to see what some other people are up to.
I am! Co-Founder of BUNQ - Up for new agency of the year in the Net Awards: http://bunq.co.uk
Dude, those staff photos are incredible. Congrats on being nominated! You're in good company.
I'm a co-founder of http://ramotion.com
I co-run a very small design and development agency. Like we have 2 people total in the company. (We actually are looking to expand soon :D) But we do small contracts in our town and with startups from around our area.
That's awesome! The leap to actual employees was one of the scariest things I've ever done. In hindsight, I would have drowned without them now. Can't do it all yourself forever.
Agreed - definitely one of the scariest things I've done. After using contract workers for several years, we (www.researchplusdesign.com) made the jump to hiring our first full time employee last year. It's been great so far and we're hoping to add a remote designer to our team this year.
I'm a Creative Director/Partner at a 18-person web design and development firm, Four Kitchens, in Austin, TX.
I went to Owner Camp #2 and will be going to #5 later this month.
Great work on there. I'd love to go, but we just miss the cutoff for employees. Wish it wasn't the measurement to attend.
