Really enjoyable 7 minutes from Ben Edmonds. I especially like his thoughts on the workplace -

“It’s important that your working environment is pleasing, because that’s where you spend most of your time. So if you don’t like being there, if you’re not in a happy place while you’re there then it’s going to be horrible. So I think everything I surround myself by I try and make look nice.”

I am big collector of custom knives (especially folders), and before you think of D&D great sword, or "ninija-katana", one should check out some of the top custom knife makes / designer in the US. Especially Emerson Knives, Strider, Hinderer, etc. There are some great modern functional design out there.

It is incredibly interesting when people in the design community branch out to try other things.
