I think it's awesome that Drew has managed to create so many projects, but I would warn against trying to imitate him. Juggling that many different projects is definitely not for everybody.
And spending 10 hours on 10 different projects does not make you more "productive" than spending 100 hours on a single one. There's still only 24 hours in a day after all…
Totally agree with this. Spending 100 hours refining a single product may translate to a better end-product as opposed to spending the same amount of time building 10 separate products.
Unless of course if you aim to build 10 MVPs to sell it off, then by all mean build that 10 MVPs and pursue that goal.
I'm starting to think he doesn't ever sleep...
I'm waiting for his medium post, "How to fit 36 hours into one day".
The most productive guy on the entire internet.
Very iOS 7... I don't like it, I preferred the old design.
I'm sorry am I meant to take "Go forth and build" seriously?
Looks really good and simple. I like it. Although, seems like some things are put there now maybe for future launches (some links go to parked godaddy pages).
Any one else notice that his 'email' button on the contact pages doesn't actually go anywhere?
Just to blurred top header, rendering same content twice in the page.
I can never do that knowingly, and will not let anyone do it. May be one or two elements on the page is fine, but entire page. No way.
Wow - you're right. In order to get the blurred header he has all of the body content duplicated in the header - so everything on there is there twice...yeah, that's a pretty big trade-off for the blurred header. Though, it renders fine, and looks slick, so I guess...
...bold way to start your portfolio.
I wish we could hear from Drew what inspired the design before we all peg it as "iOS7 inspired."
I feel like it's kind of unorganized. I felt lost while scrolling for a long time. It looks like a ton of stuff without a precise order. More than this the visual design is very nice and the projects too!
Very iOS7. I really like it. And the work... Oh boy.
He has lots of cool projects. I like his timeline down the bottom of the page.
Yeah, I thought it was a nice touch. The menu is a good addition too!
