As someone often guilty of "browser wanking", I appreciate the subtle reminder here "to focus more on their work, and less on the magic of media queries."
You got it, Dustin. All in good fun, giving great content the attention it deserves.
Exactly. All in good fun. Thanks Mig!
This is cute and all, but I hope won't be in widespread use... I make my browser windows really narrow sometimes for a couple of valid reasons:
- Often the "mobile" size is more readable & compact.
- If I want to reference information on a page in a compact manner side-by-side with other windows, it's often ideal to make the window a nice narrow column.
It only shows up while resizing, so I'd say it's effects on legibility are little to none. For what seems like a light-hearted reminder turned weekend JS project, I don't think those are valid, but I get your sentiment :)
I love this.
Solid afternoon entertainment in my office chat. Chuckles from around the room.
Cackling in the office. Thanks for sharing & making, Dustin & Mig!
Yeah, except if I unplug my monitor and need to resize my browser...
Hey Matt, thanks for giving it a look. You can always set a delay, or better yet, not use the plugin at all. :)
Gotcha. I chuckled, for sure...
I would love to use this as an easter egg. I might end up getting fired in the process. Nevertheless, I still want to use it :D
