At least it's not flash anymore.. Great stuff!
I'm a fan of their navigation bar and the way it pushes itself down for the submenus. Interesting and original, no?
jesus some of you guys are hard to please!
Interesting design. Reminds me a little of Google Plus app on android in how the cards slide in from the bottom upon scrolling.
Neat trend, but I'm not sure it's great for longevity of the brand. Also all the animations seems to get annoying after you go through the site once. Especially waiting on the site to load once you click through the navigation.
Ah, that was it!
I couldn't figure out why I found exploring the site (despite the work and site itself intriguing me). It's because every damn element has to "fly in" like that.
the unavoidable faked loading screen pauses when it's not the active tab. nightmare ux.
Nightly Firefox - Only loads homepage, navigating to any items results in blank page. Chrome - it loads
white text on light gray really? Going back to homepage, animates everything again and takes you to the top of the page instead of last scrolled position.
Sorry but please don't follow this pattern.
I love the "feel" of the site.... the way they present the content, but I agree that the animations get old very fast. I'm not sure why everything has to float up and magically appear on scroll. I'm nitpicking though...
Lovely layouts but seriously, this is just a flash site without flash. These animations are a fun tech demo, but super distracting and make each page considerably slower to read.
Like the design but copy needs a little work.
"Sometimes we add an extra sentence or two to make sure that the copy aligns with the first column. If you think this is a waste of time, just skip to our project section – that’s where the real magic happens."
Love it - especially the brand and name
