Don't convince yourself that doing marketing is actually doing activism.
In the end it's goal is self serving to you and its a bit insulting to the people you claim to be helping that doing your job to benefit your product and you is actually helping them.
C’mon, I don’t think Chris or anyone else labors under any illusions that this article is activism. As he opens with, it’s “One tiny way I thought we could help”.
