Joe Blau, over 9 years ago Well I think that with Flat UI, there are a few other elements that are starting to surface. Animations, long shadows, blurs, and transparencies just to name a few. I'm definitely an untrained design newbie, but I'm starting to see 2-3 different flat design patterns.

Just looks dull, although it is visible that a lot of work has gone into the illustrations. It does not transmit security, safety and trust to me.

Totally agree with that, even though they are probably trying to make the whole bitcoin thing look more friendly to the uninitiated.
