    Edit I spoke too soon. Affinity just added an update with Smart Object Support. Total game changer! I've been waiting for this feature FOREVER.

    And — they are offering a 90-Day Free Trial to support Designers during COVID-19. What else is there to say? Love this company!

    Did anyone try out Affinity yet? I’m constantly switching back and forth between Photoshop and Illustrator, but it looks like Affinity has got that part figured out.

    They currently have a 50% discount so might as well try it out.

      Did anyone try out Affinity yet?

      I've used it a fair bit on lower space computers because Photoshop now needs 10+GB free to even open. So very grateful it works at all when PS doesn't

        I have switched from adobe entirely in my home office, and im working on my coworkers to move across to affinity. now they have added smart objects I think we will be able to ditch them for good!

    I love Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo. The software is very intuitive and better than Adobe in many ways.

    But, until there is 100% Smart Object Support, I won't be able to switch.

    Currently, Smart Objects are Rasterized on Import. So, if you have any PSD Scene Mockups (Clothing, Merchandise, Devices, etc) — they will all be flattened when you open them in Affinity.
