an article posted by a marketer gets 14 upvotes in an hour without a single comment.

    not suspicious at all.

And if you would have clicked on the OP's profile, you would see she only posts articles from Imaginary Cloud and also only upvotes articles from Imaginary Cloud. And if you look at the posters of those upvoted posts, you'll see they're all doing the same.

This is an obvious voting-ring. Reported.

Great look for Imaginary Cloud :)

Edit: Holy shit.. you only upvoted and commented on Imaginary Cloud stuff as well!

Hi Joey, if you take a closer look, our blog posts are written by experienced designers so we regret that you don't recognize its value. It's in our DNA to share that knowledge with everyone that may find it useful. That itself is a genuine contribution here in DN.

Genuine contributions constitute of more than just posting stories from one website whether written by experienced designers or not.

If you participated in discussions, upvoted stories posted by other members, and refrained from the voting rings Imaginary Cloud has clearly been using over the past several months, we might take your claim that this is a genuine contribution more seriously.

If you did the above, posting the occasional article from Imaginary Cloud almost certainly wouldn't be a problem. But since its the only thing that you do, we can't help but see this as disingenuous self promotion.

Voting rings are brutal and it would be a minimal effort to banish these users, I imagine.
