Seeing some chatter about it being done by a Canadian firm, but no mention of name. What studio/designer worked on this??

Because it looks like clipart. You can't own all the colours, and the shape isn't unique in any way.

Nike, Airbnb, Spotify, Mcd, Google, Coke, Pepsi, literally google 'memorable logos'. You ask any kid to draw those and they can do it. Good luck even describing the one above. It's really bad work but also the brief would have been awful so it is what it is.
I could agree with this but do we compare Oklahoma's identity with Giant companies' identity?
