Hi Oyku, it seems that if you wanted illustration feedback you might ask before it’s published? This was published 20 days ago, and feels like you might just be looking for some extra views.
Thank you for your comment, actually this design belongs to my coworker, she didn't know about DesignerNews and tried to create an account but couldn't share her work for some reason. That's why I offered her to share it from my account to get feedback, thank you for your concern tho :)
Thanks for the context!
As for actual feedback:
- not sure what story the illustration is telling. The paper airplane makes me feel like a contract is being “sent”, but I think the character on the right is actually creating it?
- it follows the trend of “small people making really large things” that has been popular for a while, for what it’s worth
- the color palette is nice and works well with the site
- the poses of the characters feel a little stiff. Exaggerating the pose more might bring some more emotion to them.
Welcome to Designer News, a platform for spammers to spam, content marketers to market their content. I think the recent limitations to new accounts posting something will help us a little. At least we won't get as much self-promotion. I hope.
But in this case, I've been following Oyku for quite some time. She always posts about her work on these articles and seeing how she responds to comments and feedbacks I think she is genuinely interested in improving. So, if we had an option to mark posters as spammers or non-spammers I'd mark her as safe.
Good to know! Carry on.
I wonder if this is the question you need to ask. What are you trying to find out?
