I would say quick and easy to understand. I had to go back to sketching in creating my wireframes because I kept making more complex then they should be. Then I quickly rebuild them in Sketch of XD and linked them up to see how the user flow actually feels like.
Quick post about what we think makes a good/useful set of wireframes. Would love to hear what you think!
In my opinion, the wireframes shouldn't just be quick and easy to understand. They should be accurate in the user journey and reflect the real content hierarchy rather than being loose interpretations with too much of a gap for creative license by designers or dev. Effective and useful wireframes are thoughtful and contain interaction notes that reflect the actual intent expected of the user experience.
"Make the content realistic" needs to be taken further. Content should be designed first and foremost for a website to have a solid structure.
AGREED 1,000% - this process is the only way a website design is implemented with accuracy.
