Maybe its just me but at first glance, I thought the website was for a tool or platform rather than a studio (even after reading the blurb on the main page). Wondering if anyone feels the same?
That's precious feedback to hear. I'd love to know if more people feel the same too.
This confusion is absolutely valid as we're combining and testing with 1. designing ourselves 2. with help from other freelance designers 3. all guided with our platform. So this is not just a tool, an agency or a platform. But it might very well focus on just one aspect in the future depending on the needs and fit of our target customers. What do you think?
I had the same feeling.
Additionally, the chat process to get a quote had two main issues:
- It felt very slow. After every question I had to wait several seconds while it showed the "..." typing animation. Obviously, no one is actually typing (though maybe some people would be fooled), so this is unnecessary. I could have gotten through the same flow with progressive check-boxes in half the time.
- The person filling this out probably won't know exactly what they need, but this gives the sense that each of the items are uniquely priced out (e.g., color consulting costs $X), which seems excessive.
Feels very transactional without saying what you solve.
Thanks for the feedback!
Our thought process for the copy of the landing page was the following: we expect our target customers to already know what a design studio does and why one would want to hire a studio. And that is getting beautiful and pertinent visuals (in the broad sense) that make a company stand out. What's your take on this?
There are thousands of design studios that do different things. Brand design? product design, industrial design, environmental design, so on and so on. Also, why are you different? What are you solving?
oh wow, these eyes + colour are exactly like vvatch (https://beta.vvatch.tv), maybe just a coincidence though
Hey Jonah, the eyes do exactly look like vvatch, but it's purely coincidental though. I had never seen this project, but I like it!
Thank you everyone for checking Taskbrush out! The feedback we're receiving is good :) But would love to hear more!
