As solid of a product Translate is, I can't help but feel that they never went to a foreign country to test it in the wild. There are some common pitfalls that are pretty blatant, but only when you use it thoroughly in real-life. Here are some points that come to mind (on Android):

    • phrases that are more than two lines are cut off, and you have to manually expand them. (The font-size being changeable would make a big difference)
    • clicking on the shortcut/persistent notification banner opens up the settings, but it would be much better if it opened up the main translate screen

That said, the Conversation feature has personally been something that would make me rate this app 10/10 -- amazing job on that

I love how Translate is constantly being improved, the conversation feature is awesome. Super helpful app for expats, can't think about my life in Germany without this thing around.
