So I've used Fantastical, Sunrise, and Tempo. All are nice apps with particular strengths, but I've ended up back with iOS Calendar. Maybe you can elaborate on why the stock app "isn't doing it"?

(In my case, I'm not a power user with tons of meetings and such, so the apps' extra features didn't justify taking up memory on my 16 GB 4S. Plus I like being able to check the date in the icon, and dates as badges are a horrible hack.)

I also have gone back to the iOS Calendar. My friends tease me about it (they use Sunrise), but it barely seemed different to me.

I guess I'm not a "power user" either.

There's nothing particularly wrong with it, but it doesn't make my calendar experience particularly delightful (or whatever) and I thought I could probably do better.

I've recently moved to a company which uses a company calendar more than I'm used to, so figured I'd shop around.
