Thanks for sharing. It is interesting to compare and contrast the animations between Google's Material Design animations and Keynote.
I wonder if Google Ventures' use of Keynote had any influence on Material Design's creators. They certainly saw many of the same strengths that Mr. Haskins cites (see: http://www.gv.com/lib/the-product-design-sprint-prototypeday4).
