Logitech Performance Mouse MX. It fits my hand, has multiple (configurable) buttons, and works on glass. Logitech Performance Mouse MX

Love this mouse. I've had four via warranty replacement. Finally switched to Apple's trackpad.

Do you like the trackpad? I often use the one on the MacBook Pro, but wondered what a larger one would be like.

Do you use this with a mac? I've had to stop using mine since the latest Maverick update makes the roller go two steps forward and back instead of one.

Tried driver updates but no luck. Switched to this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-GM-M6880-M6880-Laser-Mouse/dp/B002050WSS

I do use it on a Mac. Do you mean when it's on the "clicky" scrolling, rather than endless scrolling? It did take me some time fiddling with the native scroll settings to get it feeling right (in terms of scroll distance and acceleration).

When did you last use it? I've only been using it for the last couple of months, so perhaps it's something they fixed recently…?

Yeah the clicky one! It's been on my desk gathering dust since Feb, the acceleration was killing me. Gonna give it a driver update and see if it's fixed ta!

Let me know how you get on. I used to have the Revolution MX which would switch scrolling between clicky and endless automatically depending on how quickly you scrolled — I miss it!

        Try using Steermouse:

I've been able to avoid using the Logitech software entirely because of this awesome app.

Incredibly comfortable, it's the only mouse I can use for prolonged times without going back to the trackpad. 10/10, best feature is definitely clicking the scroll mode toggle like a maniac while thinking.

I loved this mouse for a couple months, until the "works on glass" part stopped working and lost all precision. Called Logitech and got a replacement, same problem after a few months.
