    The Visa haunted me all those years and still does as I'm traveling. It follows me everywhere. I guess that's the price to pay for skipping college.

    But you can't give up. Every time a door closes, there are more that opens. Eventually, you face that door again with a big grin.

      how does it follow you? does it come up as a rejected visa everywhere you go?

        Well, if you don't hold a degree, you cannot get a visa to work in most countries. It's not impossible, but 10x harder or less flexible. In Hong Kong, I couldn't stay for more than 6 months, or find a sponsor that is well recognized. In Japan, it would be even harder.

          Where are you from? I thought you where chinese, why would it be hard to get a visa to hong Kong? excuse my ignorance.

          I'm a Canadian in Germany right now, in on the 3 month visitor visa however my Fiancée is German so we're looking into how that all works out.
