Aside of “default designer package” for my workflow, here are some of apps that I use:

    1. GetCloud App — http://getcloudapp.com For sharing screenshots and files

    2. ClipMenu — http://www.clipmenu.com/ Essentially it's an app for managing clipboard history, but I use it for snippets of placeholder text paragprahs. I'm not fan of the original lorem ipsum because it's not look like a real text, so I use excerpts from random wikipedia articles: http://c.kam88.com/NINU

    3. Icon Slate — https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/icon-slate/id439697913?mt=12 For testing app icon designs. It has nifty feature of showing PNG file as icon in dock. And of course it also generates *.icns file.

    4. iDocuments — http://www.icyblaze.com/idocument/ All guidelines, brand books, PDF presentations and books, just about everything that could be useful for me in future I prefer to store in iDocuments.

    5. Screeny — http://www.screenyapp.com/ Sometimes it's hard to show something just by screenshots, especially if we talking about interactions with app, so for such cases I use Screeny for recording small videos

    6. PopChar — http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/7813/popchar-x For showing all character glyphs of desired font. I know that there more beautiful app called Character: https://itunes.apple.com/ru/app/characters/id536511979?mt=12 Maybe I should try and switch to it.

/* Also I'm looking for nice app for taking notes. With cross-device cloud syncing, tags and folders (markdown support will be a plus). Something between nvALT (too simple — no folders) and Evernote (too complex). If someone knows a nice app, please tell me */
